The Frame Project is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on community-based vision support, donated eyeglass redistribution, and non-diagnostic vision screenings.
Our screenings are intended for basic vision support and educational outreach purposes only. They are not comprehensive eye examinations and are not intended to diagnose, treat, monitor, or prevent any medical condition or disease. Participation in any screening or outreach event does not establish a doctor-patient relationship or replace evaluation by a licensed eye care professional.
The Frame Project does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, prescription writing, emergency eye care, or surgical services. Any eyewear distributed through our programs consists of donated eyeglasses or community-supported resources and may not be appropriate for all individuals or visual needs.
Individuals experiencing severe eye pain, sudden vision loss, flashes, floaters, double vision, eye injury, or other urgent symptoms should seek immediate evaluation from a licensed eye care professional or emergency medical provider.
When additional evaluation or advanced care may be needed, The Frame Project may help connect individuals with community resources, partner organizations, social service support systems, or vision care providers when available. However, we do not guarantee appointments, financial coverage, treatment availability, transportation, insurance eligibility, or ongoing care.
